listening to a tribe called quest, charlie 2na, J5 (of course), Del the funky homosapien and all his various aliases as well as some aussie, VMR crew from adelaide, Drapht, ozi battla, etc etc. what are you listening to?

whats good this week who did the beats and who's guestin?

everyone should listen to M-Phazes "Good Gracious" as homework in the meantime

Nothing that new, but I've been listening to Blackalicious' Blazing Arrow a lot lately. Very smooth.

Also found that the BlakRoc album grew on me a lot more than I expected after I was initially left a little underwhelmed. I guess I wasn't expecting so much traditional US rap stuff (wu tang etc. style) but I've definately warmed to it.

True Live's 'Found Lost' remains one of my very favourite albums though, and always gets a pretty regualr spin. To me they, and TZU, are the real highlights of the Australian genre; and I think both bands have new albums on the way, sweet!

Saw Bliss n Eso today, wasn't really intending to but I loved the fact that they put in a bit of effort...beatboxing, letting the DJ have a few moments all to himself etc...whereas some of the other acts just played their songs straight up like it was a recording studio then left.

B+E are always sick. seen em a couple of times now and they killed it both times. last time was at the MTV show in thredbo in july. wicked show
