The "I will ride _____km in 2025" thread - commit and conquer here!!

Ta mate, seems I'm actually coming back better than I was feeling before with some extra exercises, etc... - but just in that sketchy occasional remnant twinging stage now.
Nice work. Yup. Let me move a few things - oop - nope. Now wheres my wheat bag. Doing core exercises and going back to physio soon to increase the amount of exercises I’m doing. Bit grumpy not being able to ride. :p

Hope others yearly km’s going well.

Cheeky buggar. :p No battery power just yet.

The offer is there brother

I'm flitting between raring to ride and zero fucks about any kind of riding.

I don't want to wait until October to start riding again, especially as I'm piling on the weight.

Scrolling rotorburn and see your posts @shiny
I am in the same boat as you at the moment. Lower back problem flared up in a big way a few weeks back. Doctor, numerous physio visits and only yesterday I have been able to start back with light exercises. Broken bones, twisted ankles, concussions over the years.....the thing I dread most is back pain. Such a depressing injury. Whenever I here of someone with back pain, you have my sympathy.
Fingers crossed you are back riding sooner rather than later mate.

Cheers. it is very annoying and numerous GP and physio visits as well and no real progress. Hopefully an increase in physio exercises will help. Hope you are back on the bike back soon as well.

I'm fucking raring to go but life (work, weather, family) keeps on getting in between me and the kms.

Come Sept I will have been trying to rebuild my fitness for 12 months, but stupid life just keeps on happening.
Same here. I look forward to working away because I get to ride

Time to update for mid year.
Tracking well, my goal was 365hrs, looking good to be closer to 400 barring any mishaps. Pushing close to 9hrs weekly ride time.

Nice work!

I'm on track for 10,000km this year. Lost a whole week to the flu and then another one to working away in WA. Hopefully the winter weather doesn't slow me up too much. There's a few races towards the end of the year I want to hit at peak fitness.

Strava shows I have ridden my bike 25 times this year and travelled a total of 383 km. In contrast I have walked the dog 165 times and travelled 460 km.
You need to teach that dog to ride!!
