The last movie you've last watched last

I loved every minute of it. But then I'm a deadpool fangirl, it was going to be awesome regardless of bad it was. My kids are mad keen to watch it, but I won't let them near my comics, let alone the movie. It's about as inappropriate for kids as a non-european movie gets, and the studios should be proud of themselves for not pg13ing it
I read an article talking about the runaway success of Deadpool, and how it may cause a lot more studios to rethink their reluctance to release R rated movies. Their assumption has always been with the reduced pool of people who can watch it it's harder to make money. Turns out if you don't just churn out the same generic crap movie after movie you can also make money that way! Who'd have thought it.

Profitability isn't hurt when you make it with the cash from your change jar, either. Hopefully it might cause a rethink of the blockbuster mentality too. Shows you don't need huge budgets, fuck off effects and a list casts, when you have a decent story, a passion and sense of humour for the material.

This is so sad but I've just discovered Pitch Perfect 1 & 2. Can't get enough of Anna K, Anna C, Brittany S, Alexis, all HOT!

Even Rebel W, bludy funny, has a law degree and can swing nunchucks like Bruce Lee, I kid you not. Respect!

^ most people watch porn when they need a little visual stimulus. At least it usually has a plausible story line and we'll developed characters...

i loved the way it was a piss-take on the Marvel movies from the get-go. I think it's going to be my favourite movie ever, surpassing Blade Runner. My Hubs loves the whole comic-book-to-movie thing, he's slowly converting me....Deadpool might actually tip the balance.

I watched The Martian on the weekend. Very good movie, I liked it.
another vote for The Martian here.

Yeah The Matrian was good, watched it again yesterday on a flight...well over 2 flights... also watched:
Spectre, which was alright
Man from uncle which was better than I thought it was going to be
Bridge of Spies, which was very good
Sicario, which I liked at the start, but seemed to go a bit awol in the end (super tired by then)
Force awakens for the 3rd time
Steve Jobs because i thought it'd be interesting, and it was, but still doesn't make me want to buy mac anything (alothugh I did love the original Machintosh)

AM now well sick of flying.

Saw deadpool last week. Wasn't really interested when i saw the previews but it's quite good.
Bridge of spies was the one prior to that which was also very good

I was dragged along to How to be single, yesterday, and it was pretty boring.... if you're thinking about it, I wouldn't bother....

Saw Deadpool recently too and that was a good watch, pretty funny and some good action.

Saw Zoolander 2. What a steaming pile of poop. Pointless, worthless, unnecessary and completely unentertaining. If I wasn't watching with the family would've walked out after 30 mins. Wasn't expecting comedy gold but didn't expect to be so disappointed either.

^Once punched Jeff Kennett. Don't pick an e-fight
Just saw Hail, Caesar. Typical Coen Bros quirk. Not their best work, but solid.

PINT of Stella. mate!

Many, many Scotches
If you havent seen Tucker and Dale vs Evil you probably should
Saw it on a flight. Wouldn't have touched it if it weren't for I recognised Steve the Pirate and hot receptionist from 30 Rock.

Much hoot!

On a slightly similar note, I recommend checking out The Cabin In The Woods.

Or if you don't like things to be so 'meta' (and I wouldn't blame you if you don't) there's always Ash Vs Evil Dead

Watched Avatar last night with daughter, she didn't want to watch it in the past because of guns etc...given that I failed parenting a couple of weeks ago when I took her to Deadpool I figured Avatar was now safe.

Zootopia - seriously good kid and adult friendly movie. The only fault I could find was maybe the out come flagged itself early, but FFS, it's a kids movie. Giving it 9.75 out of 10. If pushed I may take the kids to see it again next week.

Watched the remake of point break, a bit rubbish, but some great stunts and filming of the action
Worth watching just for the thrills
