Okay friends I've been talking about this for a while, and now its time to finally bite the proverbial bullet and launch it.
The concept is to arrange a social ride, one a week, and at worst, once a fortnight, depending on committee availability to lead the ride.
It will be called the 'President's Ride Out'.
Here's how it works:
I want it to be as 'unofficial' as possible. We are literally a group of friends, like minded people etc, getting together for a ride, somewhere in the Blue Mountains, or nearby. We will be happy to take suggestions, and may even look at doing rides of varying difficulty/length/technicality.
Each time a new ride is decided on, you'll find it advertised here in this forum. Basic details will include time/date/place and difficulty.
Naturally, you'll need to be self-sufficient in terms of hydration, food and spares.
We want all to come. It'll be a great opportunity to meet other riders from the club, and socialise with them, rather than arriving and leaving from a club race, never having spoken to a soul. So stay tuned and lock in the dates as they appear in this thread.
