DH The quake, how did y'all miss it

Soo, after watching this bike for weeks, I finally decided to make a run to bruzzy to grab it.
Such a bargain I can't believe none of you Brisbonions didn't grab it.
Complete saint drivetrain, saint brakes, saint hubs, bloody totems. Fuck, let me get my breath back.

Anyway, I'll probably strip it for the turner but will put a chain on and see if I keep it or not.
To be honest I always wanted a quake

Hmm, it is nice, guess I'll have to buy another parts bike for the Turner.

This being in such good condition it's hard to cannibalize, seems like it's hardly been ridden

Only a frame and shock at the moment. No, it's not the cool older version
Any Turner is a thing of beauty.

We had someone from the US turn up at State series DH race around 95 riding a Turner Burner. The 3.6”
“Downhill” version. Was the last stop before he headed back so he put it up for sale - wish I’d had the cash to buy it back then.

That and the chain were the only rusty bits on it., going to give the cassette a vinegar bath when I get the time. The chain is a giveaway to anyone who wants a project 😁

Unlikely your cassette is going to work well with a new chain...

Also if you want some shits and giggles vinegar bath the chain. Last time I did that for one in a similar condition there was all sorts of interesting reactions.

I have always liked them as well, they don't seem to pop up much for sale.

When I first saw that frame I asked a couple questions and bought it straight away, no need to haggle a bargain

You are probably right about the cassette, I vinegar bathed a surface rust chain about 6 months ago and it's working fine.
