It could simply be a limiting screw needing 1/2 a turn. Shimmy or SRAM mech?Makes sense. Mine won't shift to the smallest one and I don't want to fuck about with it because everything else shifts sweetly!

Yes. Misread part of it.Erm... Wouldn't he want a smaller chainring if he's not using the 11t now?
Make sure nothing has come loose in the rear, rubbing rear rotor and not shifting to the smallest cog.Makes sense. Mine won't shift to the smallest one and I don't want to fuck about with it because everything else shifts sweetly!
Or simply needs a cable change. Less spring tension in the little cogs.Bigger on the rear cassette maybe ? x2 drive train is the only way to go especially for beginners.

My 11spd Sram is not shifting on the middle cassette you have to click it twice then shift up once - put new cable on adjusted nothing else shifts perfect. Everytjne I have had weird shifting just in one spot of the cassette new cable fixed it.Or simply needs a cable change. Less spring tension in the little cogs.
Yep. 9/10 it’s the fix for poor shifting. That and poor cable routing with steep bends. My 11spd Sram is not shifting on the middle cassette you have to click it twice then shift up once - put new cable on adjusted nothing else shifts perfect. When did you last do an outer? The last time I had something similar it took both a new inner and outer to sort itMy 11spd Sram is not shifting on the middle cassette you have to click it twice then shift up once - put new cable on adjusted nothing else shifts perfect. I usually inspect the outer for any kinks or wear or bends that have tightened - but I think I have only ever replaced the outer once always just the inner cables has been enough. When did you last do an outer? The last time I had something similar it took both a new inner and outer to sort it
Mine went inside the frame so I'd have never seen it.I usually inspect the outer for any kinks or wear or bends that have tightened - but I think I have only ever replaced the outer once always just the inner cables has been enough.
I hear you. After I did it I wondered why I waited so long....I change outer pretty regularly. No time for less than perfect shifting.
Internal routing?I hear you. After I did it I wondered why I waited so long....
Just buy a bike with fully tubed internals like Felix’s...or bypass the internal routing and add guides to the frame like me.Internal routing?
Back to SRAM brakes?Just buy a bike with fully tubed internals like Felix’s...or bypass the internal routing and add guides to the frame like me.
Juicy comment. On the level.Back to SRAM brakes?
