There's one that looks very similar but the cut out where it fits into the frame is slightly different (Garry turner/ Giant)

I think it's best getting the right one, this thing has got strange dropouts that barely hold the wheel in.

Thanks Dale, I did see that before but the express post to Au is a bit high. When you put your details in, it gives you something like $62 or $119 express mail and it might be in USD as well. I'm not going to get out of this cheaply.

Thanks for the thought, I think those are a bit different and I need to get spares anyway. I've still got the GT Force to ride, it's just not the best bike to slug up hills with some of the groups I ride with.

Agreed that replacement dropouts have always been overpriced but fortunately you don't need too many.

Or convert it to an SS and dread hills.

I'm a spinner and never been a good grinder, not really a fan of loading up my knees. The main public trails I like riding here have some short but nasty steep pinches.

Same here, I used to grind and it wasn't a good idea in hindsight. Gears are good.

Pretty sure it's an XD driver.

I did buy it off Minlak though, so who knows.

I ordered XD when I ordered them but never looked at them but it should be XD.

It is an XD driver. It's just that it has one cutout bigger than the rest. Wasn't sure if all are like that as the cassette has uniform sized splines.

Couldn't find it anyway. Just like my shock pump - it's disappeared. hmmm
