Was someone on here looking for some square taper cranks a day or so ago? I cannot find it and may have been having a bad dream. For desperadoes...

Has anyone run tubeless without sealant and if you have, how long did you get away with it for?
Tried it with ust tyres and ust rims circa 2009. Worked fine, but the wheels were shit and the tyres weighed a tonne so have been riding ‘modern’ tubeless with sealant since then.

Ultimately, it depends how good your tape , valve and tyre casing seal is, so why do it?

I’ve got old sets that I set up with sealant, that’s gone bone dry and they stay inflated. If I was running them, the smallest puncture would bring them undone.
Also, if you’re using 300ml of sealant, wtf? I might use a little over 1/2 that, combined front and rear.

Is the engine meant to do that?

Yeah, that wouldn't be a good feeling!

Makes me laugh though how they always list the model of plane, but never the engine manufacturer/model... Boeing cops it for something either the engine manufacturer or maintenance squad are responsible for!
