Time for a new Bike....Blog.

Well, I am heading over to Canada :)D) and I wanted a new bike this year. I had my heart set on one of 2 frames, and I found a brand new 08 Glory frame.

So it was time to move on from the awesome reliable Yakuza.....

So I held a build night, invited some mates over, turned the lounge room into a workshop, ordered pizza and we were off.

We stripped the Ironhorse. Quickly! And started the all new build, the new frame came with some teething problems, butnothing the boys couldn't handle.

Things were starting to take shape.....

Until the red cordial ran out.

And after some careful tuition, the boys let me help out.

We had a foreman on duty, she wouldn't let the guys leave until it was done, and she had a close eye on the work at hand.

This is what happens to workers when the softdrink runs out.

Nearly there, just a little bit to go......:D

The finished product.......She rides sweet!:D:D:D

Just a few more upgrades to do when I get back.......seat, rims, cranks and custom paint job on the lowers.

Red cordial instead of beer = good option unless you want your forks were your rear wheel should be!

Yet your going to take it apart again when you go to canada :p

better have a truck load of red cordial to get your mates to follow you to canada!

Thats if you want them to help build it.

Just curious as to where you plan on getting your fork lowers painted?

In the business for some of that myself.

Nice glory, bit of something different to all the bog stock glory's we see.

Anyone that can paint on plastics. Some panel beaters can do it, but be careful who you go to and what methods they use.
Carlini's in Geelong (Vic) are very good. Browndog on this forum will be able to hook people up with contact details.
