The girls look great, bloody stunners actually. Shame it wasn't very tasteful, the photo of two painted girls and three wangs in business suits makes it look like a gentleman's club and unfortunately it didn't really look to me like it was the right place to do that sort of promo. Anytime someone plays the "art" card I cringe, it makes you look fucking stupid.

I agree with everything you say here Dozer.....everything. What shits me is people jumping on their moral high horse and over reacting to something that be what I have read, hasn't offended anyone there.

i think you will find that it pi$$ed off many- judging on Facebook and press.

From a purely good business/ publicity and common sensibilities perspective it was an epic fail and his attempt to dig himself out is like watching a train crash.

I however am very normal. Trust me.
I don't think topless body painted models was particularly classy or a well thought out business promotion plan.

I like topless (and bottomless) ladies as much as the next bloke, but not in a bike shop.

If they wanted to be be a bit cheeky, one piece skin suits with some camel toe would have been tops.

Well there you go.....on Facebook, I'm sure they were all there. And you'll have to forgive me....I'm not on that tripe they call social media so I'm not about to go looking either. If people there were offended, they should have said something to the business owner and left.

I don't know anyone who left the party launch because they were offended by the body painted models. Appears some people not at the party were.

I don't think it is all about being ""offended", it's about inclusiveness and cycling being a friendly place for all people.

I couldnt care less what they do but if the sizable weight of public opinion matters to your bottom end then I cant see how this was good for business. Oh and social media can impact a business more than you can possibly imagine alpha- like it or not.

As a female rider I'm more resigned and disappointed rather than outright offended. It all seems just so unneccessary and what you come to expect. Why not have the girls dress in the team kit (rather than being nearly naked)? Why not have a sample of beautiful women and men in team kit?

What? Loses credibility when you don't use actual riders - only models? Hmmm. Lets just think about that one for a moment.

Or, in a move to be actually supportive of women's riding, maybe they could do something contraversial, like stocking womens bikes? There are women's bikes to be had - but not in Australia, or not a large selection anyway.

Or charge an appropriate dollar figure for the womens bikes they do stock - were we get to pay top dollar for 3rd tier componentry?

What? No??? Then I call bs and Total Rush can jam it. They are not walking the talk.

Total rush do sell women's bikes. As in high end women's bikes with the female geometry.
Full carbon Mtb's (S-works Fate) with Shimano XTR or SRAM XX.

They Also have high end road bikes (s-works amira) for women. Full Shimano Di2 dura ace or SRAM red.

I know, my wife has them. She races for the ladies TR team on the road, mtb and CX.

Pity not ever lady wants to drop mega money to get on a bike that suits their body

I think you missed the point

Thats because he's horribly conflicted with TR... hes not going to agree with any negative publicity when his wife is a TR team rider.
