Don't Bother!
Went down to the Torquay Bike Park today. Was a nice day, very light wind, sunny, thought it would be a perfect day at the trails. Boy was I wrong. These are terrible. Anybody who rides dirt jumps will be dissapointed. The lips are non-existent, the jumps are way to short, the surface is gravel and there are no interesting lines, just straight...
I'm sure the esteemed designer has his hands tied, because I've seen better. It probably has to be "status quo" safe. Fine, but this is seriously boring stuff.
This is a waste of a great site. There are places all over the world where a bunch of teens (and others) with shovels have made trails so much more ridable, progressive, interesting AND inclusive.
Any chance of a shovel day to fix this place up? I will happily put up both hands, with a shovel and broom in both, if the opportunity arises to work on the park.
