Yep! Headsets been working great. Haven’t had creaking issues like other transition owners. So the plus one headset makes it a 64 degree head angle

You do gain abit of stackLovin the Raw look!
I'm intrigued by these Works offset headsets.
How do they work with a zero stack headset; do they somehow convert one or both cups into external cup? I've seen some builds where you end up with a bunch of extra stack height as a result.
Nice, what’s your wheelbase measure in at now?Yep! Headsets been working great. Haven’t had creaking issues like other transition owners.
someone posted on the transition fb page and it showed. 1284.2mm wheelbase which is -2.8mm. I'm to shit of a rider to tell you that i feel the shorten wheelbase but it does pedal up the techy stuff easierNice, what’s your wheelbase measure in at now?
I’m riding a spire as well, although i’m running 160 up front to steepen it a tad
which leaves the pedals even closer to the ground

50mm bars will become your bestieHow are people finding the stack on the Spire? (Or lack there of)
I want one of these but a bit concerned as I do like a relatively high front end.
I was also considering a Sentinel with cascade link.
Look forward to anything and everything you Spire owners have to post

My lower back didn't like the low stack on long fire trails up and the high rise bar solved it. If you are pedalling a bit then the carbon sentinel with cascade link would be a solid solution "do it all bike". Look at the raw Madonna v3, it has high stack and longer chain stay. That would be the bike id like to try next after the spire.50mm bars will become your best
Go the SpireCurrently on a Norco Range and it’s just a bit cumbersome. Want something a bit more playful and lighter.
I do ride an XL and the stack is about 10mm more than the Spire but I do run about 30mm in spacers and a 35mm rise bar.
Spire with a +1 angle set vs a Sentinel with a Cascade and 170mm fork. It’s tough to tell if there’s a difference at that point.

Go the Spire
The only neg thing is how long the wheelbase is, it makes slowish tight corners a task
Saying that it’s more of a lean the bike right over cornering type than a steer it thing
Surprisingly it will actually be a shorter wheelbase than the Range (one of my complaints). So i figure with the +1 angleset for a bit better steering and the slight reduction in the wheelbase from that i'm getting better plus have the option to rake it out for any trips to Queenstown/Maydena and Whistler.
Plus the Range only goes with coil but at least with the Spire I can run an air shock for the day to day locals or even consider coil (again for road trips) and both Spire alloy and carbon lighter than the Range.
I think mine is 15kg with a Lyrik and coil rear (never even tried a air shock) so plenty light
It definitely climbs well for its size and also jumps/jibs darn good
I’d go alloy/carbon spire with the headset. Save yourself the cascade link cost.Spire with a +1 angle set vs a Sentinel with a Cascade and 170mm fork. It’s tough to tell if there’s a difference at that point.

is "Nigel in Tassie" this tuner? --> https://silkshobart.com/The NSR is worth every dollar! My bushings were so tight that he didn’t even take down my settings. I’m still in the process of dialing in as pressures of 3-4psi can make a difference. Prior to the tune i was at 65 main /85 IRT. Right now I’m at 54/79( 170mm travel 87kg kitted. Major drop of psi and both at 24-25% sag. May increase the psi abit for that 22% as I’m going a little faster and don’t want to dip too much. The initial supplness is excellent and its stability through rock gardens is killer. Would love other peoples insight to the mezzer setup!! I’ve read about RRT and Douglas tune, it was just easier to send to Nigel in tassie. Waiting for him to work on a tune for the super deluxe coils ( apparently 6 weeks out)
