Hello all,

(I have moved this thread to Parts/stuff because i wasn't getting much from general)

I have recently been shafted over FARKIN, (item not as described  ) and I have made do with what i have acquired.
I was geared up to build a Hardtail DH bike, however after buying what was described as a "Norco Manic" turned out a "Norco One25"
I am a bit disappointed.
So now, After a chat with Dallas at Breakaway Cycles in Morisset (legends ;)) he suggested I turn it into a "trail bike".

X-9 Drivetrain (Super- Short)

- X-9 Trigger shift
- X-9 rear Derailleur
- Shimano 9spd Chain
- Shimano 9spd Cassette
- FSA Platinum Pro BB
- RaceFace Evolve DH Crankset
- Wellgo "beartrap" pedals
- Blackspire DH chainring (39t)
- Marzocchi Bombers ('02)
FSA Pig Headset
Hussefelt Bar's and Stem
Sunlite OHJC (Older Generic) Wheelset (soon to be changed)
Haye's Nines (coming soon)
Norco One25 frame :)mad:)

so, Is the trail Idea Feasible?
(By trail I am talking moderate downhill, little to no hucking, and jumping gaps and few doubles, essentially riding in the bush (not park or street))

If in your opinion it is, What will i need to add to this bike?

Cheers,

Jackson

PS - rode it for a few hours yesterday, goes hard, and handles like a dream, it just floats

PPS- Merry christmas and all that shit for thursday

I'd say get new forks. You will deffinatley need to get new forks because if you try to do a little downhill on them you will probaly snap the little suckers.
