I've just seen this bloke in front of crown in Melbourne cbd. Bold rear tyre. It seemed he is using it as a cool city bike. Bit dodgy.

I do it all the time, expecially if I only have 30 mins to ride... get fit faster!

He doesn't look too suspicious to me, probably just likes riding around on it?

It's okay, I'd say it was odd if I saw anybody using a DH bike on the road.

Surely it is mighty uncomfortable?

I wouldn't think too much of that. Up north we have these guys riding around all the time. We have a crazy guy who rides his Old Skool Giant ATX up Mt Stuart never goes off road, its a full blown DH rig. The bike still looks brand new apart from its a late 90's bike

It's called townhilling. He looks legit to me. Shorts and bag say he's a bike rider. Townhiller none the less, but definitely a bike rider.
