Vic State Series Round #2 Flyer

OK Guys,

Unfortunatly due to Parks Victoria knocking back the Beechworth Chain Gang based on fire risk and high personal injury they are not going to be able to hold the 2nd round for the Vic State Series.

BUT
Fatties have come to the rescue, with keeping the date the same we holding the race at long Gully.

Everyone is welcome to come out and camp for the weekend, due to the weather there are not going to be able to be any fires of any description :(

Hope to see you all out there for an awesome weekend of racing

Just near healsville mate, you can stay there, you might be able to get a room at the yarra glen pub or you can stay on the property.

Accomodation for the race

Hey for anyone who doesnt have camping gear or doesnt want to stay on the property but needs accomodation you can go to the yarra valley tourism website which is http://www.visityarravalley.com.au/yarravalley.asp they should have everything yo need to know. Try and stay in the Heasville or Yarra Glen area, they are both about 10-15 mins drive from the property, or ask to stay as close to Long Gully as you can (there are a number of bed and breakfasts quite close to the race site. You could also try calling 03 5962 2600, that is the number of the yarra valley tourist centre. Also, Long Gully is on PRIVATE PROPERTY so please only go there on designated riding days, if people are found on the property the owner will crack it and we will never race there again. Anyway hope to see you all there for the race, we will be racing track 2 with hopefully a few changes and/or upgrades if we get enough time between now and the race.

It's going to be one full on month of Downhill.

Barjarg is looks like it's going to be the highlight of the three races.

Can't wait.

damn, ive been hanging for some full on racing in Vic for a while now, but im overseas!

see you all at round 3 4 5 (and 6??) or whatever...

props to Fatties for getting this going too!

long gully race

hey all.
the race is coming around quickly and all is falling into place nicely. the access track to the top has been put right through so now there is transport right the way to the start line. there is free camping on the property for saturday night but keep in mind that there is pretty limited cold water only. any way just thought i would give you a quick update. the track has had some small changes made with a few new lines put in since the last race. it will be great for racing making th track a bit quiker thrught a few sections. see you all out there on the weekend.

I'll be there! Hopefully I don't crash and burn like last time. Props to the Fatties for all the work they do; organizing races for melbourne and the state series.
