Here is your opportunity to tell us what you would like to see happen for mountain biking in Langford Park, by filling in this short survey.

http://singletrackminds.com.au/trails-advocacy/

The survey makes up part of the work that I am doing (as my business Single Track Minds) with the Department of Environment and Conservation, to prepare a Mountain Biking Trail Network Plan that caters for a variety of experiences and skill levels within the Langford Park Area in Jarrahdale.

The main objectives of the Trail Network Plan are:
- To provide a range of Mountain Biking trails, including short, medium and long trails with a range of difficulty.
- To create a sustainable trail network by utilising the most sustainable trails (some rehabilitation/realignment will be necessary)
- For existing formal walk trails within the area to be avoided.
The Trail Network Plan has 2 stages:
- Stage 1 will consist of a planned network of trails on existing trails (with minor realignments where necessary).
- Stage 2 will provide a plan for a network of trails that caters for a range of user groups utilizing existing trails and the proposal to construct new trails.

The aim is to create a network of sustainable trails that provides high quality mountain bike experiences for a range of abilities from beginners to expert. In order to do this Stage 2 will require input and advice from all of the mountain bike community - that is, everyone on this forum!

We have made a user-needs survey in order to get feedback from everyone as to what they would like to see at Langford Park in the future. Ideas that have been discussed include skills parks, North Shore area, more technical trail features, some black trails, longer loops and work to make the trails more sustainable.

Please fill it in and let you friends know about it as well. The more feedback we get the better our report to DEC will be and the better the outcome for the riders.

Thanks
John
