My original thinking was to have it looking a bit like a wrapped exhaust, not realising how crap the tape was. Will check out that the Tesa.Tesa cloth tape, my man:

Or use handlebar tape.
Funnily enough, a mate was horrified with how I taped it and have me a roll of the self amalgamating tape so I'll probably try that next.Or maybe some self amalgamating rubber tape just over the cable guides.
I've even got an old heavy metal t-shirt that'd be perfect for this. I can just see The Haunted's logo sprawled across the top tube now!Or super rad ...

I could get it repaired, but the dollars to do that don't make any sense to me.To be fair, you could get a new seat stay manufactured!
To be fair you'd need some duct tape too.Timber dowel.
he’ll atttach with silicone right, the good stuff thoughDon't rush! Pretty sure @Plankosaurus will cut you some copper pipe to sleeve that back good as new
Bwahahahhahahahhaha!!Don't rush! Pretty sure @Plankosaurus will cut you some copper pipe to sleeve that back good as new
If the silicone doesn't work, I'm all out of ideas, probably can't be fixed. Silicone and duct tape holds the world together.he’ll atttach with silicone right, the good stuff though
And cable ties.....If the silicone doesn't work, I'm all out of ideas, probably can't be fixed. Silicone and duct tape holds the world together.
Maybe just some pop rivetsAny room for self tappers?
Surely it deserves its place as wall art in the shed somewhere? The End.
