i know it's been posted in little things I hate but Grant Hart just died from cancer at 56. While Husker Du never made it big the influence they had on other bands was huge. They really were a ground breaking act.
Have a listen to Zen Arcade and remember that it's from 1984.

On the ride home from work I went past a speed radar...it couldn't pick me up so I did some big wide sweeping turns and it clocked me plodding along at 29km. Next shift I'm going to gun it.
