He's riding through your town with his head on fire...

Got me some Rollins Band playing.
Nice! havnt listened to any Rollins in a while so felt a need to listen to this. Although I think I like the original better.

As much of a douche as Rollins can be the Rollins band we're one mighty machine to see live.

Henrietta Collins and the wife beating child haters.

I don't mind a bit of Henry. At least he speaks his mind and usually has a lot to say about just about anything.

One of the most refreshingly depressing songs ever. Don't listen to this in a sad mood near some strong alcohol and high bridge.
I prefer New Order's version.

Wash your mouth out! Was it pavement that sang lighten up hank?

That ep is gold.

Among the early stuff I quite dig hot animal machine p2 and joy riding with Frank.

You're right about Hank. Doesn't mince words. I saw a spoken word show years ago. Equal parts cringe worthy and Hilarious.

'Tis why I love this thread. Hear something new and then get taken back to something you havnt listened to in a while.

Speaking of depressing songs. This and Marie kill me every time. Master story teller song writer.

This thread does rock. I've always liked to hear wierdness and things I haven't heard before.
That is a great song.

Mrs has a thing for country and folk music that always ends up sounding like something crap is going to happen or just happened.
I can't count how many times this one has popped up.

You were right, that is fucking awesome! My favourite was the soft headed hammer on the insides of the piano! What's a great cover. It was a bit tom waits in sound.

That was pure awesomeness. If that band isn't Krautrock they should be.
I like the weird stuff as well. Always enjoyed Later with Jools too for new discoveries.

If we want everyday stuff then easy listening radio and shopping centre music comes to the rescue.

Wierdness is good for music.

The new Fever Ray album. You know that cool intro song for the TV show Vikings? That's Fever Ray, they've got a new disc and it's pretty good!
