What are you listening to NOW?

This also reminds of Rage against the machine, killing in the name of... 40,000people jumping on the spot, the solid ground at Flemington was literally moving up and down a good 3-4inches and it registered on the local seismographs as a small earthquake. Probably the craziest live band experience I've ever had.
That was a fun gig. Had a guy next to us look really worried and ask if the ground was shaking - when we assured him it was indeed he looked relived, muttered thank god for that and went back to working on his rather large doobie.

Mark of Cain criminally underrated. Saw them at one of the big days out on the Goldie many many moons ago. Hmm or maybe it was Livid (or both LOL) Yes I am old.

Just remembered, Tell Me used to be my mobile ring tone. Now that definitely means I am an old bastard

Now I know what will be on my Spotify today 💪

I saw them at one of the festivals, maybe a Big Day Out... It was a sweltering 38+ In full sun, and they came on stage in dressed up, looked like a couple of metal heads with really long haired wigs on. Started playing and everyone was wondering who the hell these guys were...
After the 1st song you could hear one of them say "dude it's fucking hot can we take these wigs off"
"No! This is awesome keep it on!"
Not sure how they managed to be fully dressed in black jumping around like spazs and still playing music .
Also don't think I've ever seen that many lobster tans in one place.

That RATM show was fkn awesome.

So weird feeling the ground shaking.

Alas Animals as Leaders has cancelled (one of the band members broke their arm, that's how hard it is to play their stuff)

But these guys are playing local so I will go to that, love this album

Very different line up now but Art still on vocals went and saw them for the 20th Anniversary of So Much for the Afterglow. Was a great night. Planning to see them again for Sparkle and Fade.

Meanwhile, the new album from GoGo Penguin is a rather chill piece of modern jazz.

And the 'Liveforms' album from Haken is an honestly glorious 3CD set of prog metal...

I don’t mind the Mazda 3, road noise notwithstanding…

That is one thing that Mazda are very good at doing, along with making headlights that leak.

The Pilot Sport 4 and 5's i have no now sure help a lot with the noise but all bets are off on roads with a more gravelly base.
Just turn the volume up on the headunit and deal with it with more dB than the road. Take that !!

In commemoration to the civilians who died in the atomic bombings that led to the end of WW2 80 years ago (I missed the anniversary of Hiroshima, but as I type we're on the Nagasaki anniversary). This song does not celebrate war, rather the innocent civvies. "Sunrise" by Icehouse, written by Iva Davies.

I find any music with a synchopated beat I tend to like. Probably why I'm a fan of Ska, Jive and Rockabilly and have been a long time Brian Setzer fan since the Stray Cats. This is kind of a jive and rockabilly fusion....
