What did you do TO / WITH / FOR your bike today!

Thanks for all the bananas
Went for a nice ride after I dropped the children off to school. BOM hinted a monsoonal downpour but I risked it and was rewarded with an hour and a half of delightful technical riding (and the hill climb!).

Also, I adjusted my brake levers and shifters upwards a bit and I think they actually reduced a bit of hand strain! So thank you whoever that was :)

PS. My enduro strap kit wasn't required.

Had to pick up my ute after a service in Scottsdale 20km from where I live in Bridport, decided to take the long way there with a detour up Mt Stronach. 45km 800vm later pickup the ute up was a lovely ride.
Nice .

Speaking of which, how hard is it to do a 50hr service on a Rockshox Recon? Is it just bushings and foam bits?
Pull forks off the bike.

Clean forks throughly before you start. Warm soapy water in the sink, dry, then clean with isopropyl.

Cleanliness is next to godliness.

If doing a minor service, clean the foam rings. Wash in hot soapy water, then fold a rag over them and step on them, work around the rag until rings are dry. Soak in your chosen oil.
