Is that a battery pack or storage space on the back wheel @Labcanary ?
Storage! Is that a battery pack or storage space on the back wheel @Labcanary ?
The 'Alu Rad' name is a winner. Sent it young Canaries !I went and got another weird bike, hahahahahahaha!
Storage!
Coaster brake and front u-brake on 12" steel rim, so no real breaking power. It's a wheelie machine, much like the old Raleigh chopper bikes.
Winning!I rode it!
It was probably scared you were going to stick it in the lunch box compartment.Winning!
I too, rode my bike. Nothing epic. It was nice to be out.
I got swooped by a magpie. It was a half hearted attempt. On the return journey I used my jacket to protect my ears and neck and looked quite the sight. It worked, the magpie saw I was mad and left me alone, it followed me from tree to tree until I was out of their zone.
Trees! Who'd have them!I went for a ride at the local.
Came across old matey, who according to him was apparently doing a community service. He was real old... I'd say a pensioner.
I had a word with him about building a jump over that fricken tree... to a corner, or maybe even a berm.
He just looked at me, with those I don't give a flying fuck what you youngies think eyes, and cleared the track anyway.
Ha ha … the red talking

Would you believe we took all that out with a Bunnings pole saw and a small battery chain saw?
I was properly impressed with the Ryobi pole saw. We cut through stuff in this tree longer than the bar and it was great getting yourself out of harms way or having to climb up into the tree to get at it.Yep, they are amazing little things.
Interested to hear how you find them in cross-winds and such if you can report back after a bit of time to get a feel for them...Fitted some THICC wheels to the roadie, and tried to get some hills into the legs.
50mm carbon rims certainly cut the air well and the DT240s roll nicely, but the uneven buzz of the star ratchet is weird. Much prefer the click of Hopes or buzz from I9s.

I'm sure I will hate them in cross winds, but I've got a bazillion mountain bikes for windy days.Interested to hear how you find them in cross-winds and such if you can report back after a bit of time to get a feel for them...
