My rear rotor is rubbing, the seat post (the dropper part) sinks slowly as I ride, and my tyres need a pump up. Otherwise all is well!
Had big hopes of making my comeback at the You Yangs today with their October shuttle day. I haven't been to the Youies since October 2019 and I've been suffering FOMO from social media. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas and the event was cancelled on Saturday morning. Managed to get out for a few hours in the local national park and came home with MTB spray tan and grit where grit shouldn't be. Sure beats working.
Should have come out to Buxton Mick.
Conditions were pretty good!

He was on a comeback ride as well, so was questioning his life choices at that point. Is the Yeti rider looking for cracks?Looks like primo conditions.
Kinda what a dentist is trained for….Is the Yeti rider looking for cracks?Looks like primo conditions.
I just re-rear what I wrote and got it all wrong - the main post is sinking, not the dropper part. I've put some carbon paste on it but still it drops slightly but only to a point then no more.Well 2 of them can be fixed quicker than you typed and told us it about it
The dropper, maybe the cable is too tight or the actuator is not releasing all the way, loosen off the cable tightener completely for a start and also check the cable outer is located correctly at the lever. Pull the post if it continues and check the actuator is free to move all the way and the cable outer is located correctly.
Next would be to dismantle and check for a leaky cartridge.

Rotor has been straightened a bit, minimal rub now
Tyres pumped, extra speed gains, holding off on the shaved legs a while longer!
Sure beats working.

It was back in 2015 when I last rode at Buxton, but I found it to be a great little park.Should have come out to Buxton Mick.

It is actually pretty slow to rise. I'll have to invest in some crbon paste (just used the last of my Canyon stuff and that wasn't much).BTW I have never used a torque wrench on a seatpost, I tighten to where I think it should be, if it slips, more tension, if the post slows down, grip paste and less tension.
Issue on droppers is too much seatpost tension can affect the post action. BTW I have never used a torque wrench on a seatpost, I tighten to where I think it should be, if it slips, more tension, if the post slows down, grip paste and less tension.
