What did you do TO / WITH / FOR your bike today!

Do you guys have e-shovels? I hear they make digging more efficient...so you can dig more metres and still feel fresh.
Here's your e-shovel ;)

Ahhhh yes...my work has a huge event on this morning for it. Bbq breakfast and a bunch of free shit, some of which I helped set up last night. What is on in the afternoon when I (one of the few regular ride to work types) ride to work? Oh...nothing. I get it. Let the Dutch rudder and back patting continue!

Yeah, nothing for me either. I think there was a breakfast thing on down in Hobart that the Bicycle Network put on, but nothing up here in the north. I'm the only one at my work that rides and the rest just think I'm crazy. 🤣
@Haakon surely would have attended. ;)

Yeah, nothing for me either. I just rode in for the fun of it haha.

Previous years there was breakfast and even company sponsored bike service.
All the bikenetwork sites were well away from my route in this year as well.

35km is a fairly decent commute, especially on those tyres! Mine is 26km and I probably wouldn't want much further than that. I can manage the distance ok, but it is an hour each way, so it does suck up some personal time.

I finally finished the gravel build...

I couldn't ride mine to work because it's 1,889km away from me right now.

This was at 4.55 this MORNING

WTAF. The sun in Queensland is just fucked in the head.
No excuses!!!

Made it home, so 70k round trip on 170mm, DHF and Assegai.
Spent now, last few km was a massive slog haha.
When you are zinging along on the pavement with big knobbys and you sound like 4X4 with mud tyres on. 🤣

My rear rotor is rubbing, the seat post (the dropper part) sinks slowly as I ride, and my tyres need a pump up. Otherwise all is well!

Well 2 of them can be fixed quicker than you typed and told us it about it ;)
The dropper, maybe the cable is too tight or the actuator is not releasing all the way, loosen off the cable tightener completely for a start and also check the cable outer is located correctly at the lever. Pull the post if it continues and check the actuator is free to move all the way and the cable outer is located correctly.
Next would be to dismantle and check for a leaky cartridge.

Had big hopes of making my comeback at the You Yangs today with their October shuttle day. I haven't been to the Youies since October 2019 and I've been suffering FOMO from social media. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas and the event was cancelled on Saturday morning. Managed to get out for a few hours in the local national park and came home with MTB spray tan and grit where grit shouldn't be. Sure beats working.
