Yeah, nothing for me either. I think there was a breakfast thing on down in Hobart that the Bicycle Network put on, but nothing up here in the north. I'm the only one at my work that rides and the rest just think I'm crazy.Ahhhh yes...my work has a huge event on this morning for it. Bbq breakfast and a bunch of free shit, some of which I helped set up last night. What is on in the afternoon when I (one of the few regular ride to work types) ride to work? Oh...nothing. I get it. Let the Dutch rudder and back patting continue!
I couldn't ride to work because it's raining and track is too wet. So I pulled out the umbrella and walked to the shed instead...National send it to work day.

35km is a fairly decent commute, especially on those tyres! Mine is 26km and I probably wouldn't want much further than that. I can manage the distance ok, but it is an hour each way, so it does suck up some personal time.Yeah, nothing for me either. I just rode in for the fun of it haha.
Previous years there was breakfast and even company sponsored bike service.
All the bikenetwork sites were well away from my route in this year as well.
Made it home, so 70k round trip on 170mm, DHF and Assegai.35km is a fairly decent commute, especially on those tyres! Mine is 26km and I probably wouldn't want much further than that. I can manage the distance ok, but it is an hour each way, so it does suck up some personal time.
The last few km are the worst, everything feels twice as heavy and draggy.Made it home, so 70k round trip on 170mm, DHF and Assegai.

My rear rotor is rubbing, the seat post (the dropper part) sinks slowly as I ride, and my tyres need a pump up. Otherwise all is well!
