Camped down the Otways… on our third little explore ride for the day, my fricken dropper post cable breaks at the lever. Luckily the seat was at 80% height so it was still rideable, phew.

Anyway back at camp, break out the tools, and immediately do a rookie error. Didn’t secure the end of the inner to the outer, so when I pulled the seat out, the outer was way down the frame.

So a few bodgies later, I was able to use the hanging loop of a spatula to put over the inner, to guide it over the outer, and then with a gentle push and pull, out she came… double phew.

So, the seat goes up and down again.

Maiden voyage on the Time ADHX . Ventured out to the tarmac, just to make sure everything is as it should be, after finishing the build yesterday.
I have to say, although I am not a huge drop bar fan, this bike is absolutely sublime. What a beautiful ride.
I guess I'll need to put it up for sale now I've ridden it?
