What did you do TO / WITH / FOR your bike today!

Look at that seat post!!! It's a grower.
Haha, I've actually lowered it slightly and it feels much better. In fact I'm going to lower it a bit more, I had it way too high before, propably contributing to my sore 'area' after every ride. The things you learn from road riding hey!

Orrrr…. You could set the seat according to your inseam. I found the 109 method works best for me. Your results may vary. ;)

After checking the weather forecast, yesterday I set off on the 90 min plus an arm and leg in tolls, to Ourimbah for the first time.

Needless to say after leaving North Connex it was absolutely pissing it down. I thought maybe it will be better there, hopefully the rain has passed it by.

No chance it was absolutely chucking it down at the MTB park. OK I thought, I'll try out that skills park I saw. Hang on a minute, there's no signage or map so where the fark is it? God knows. I made the long trek up to Amaroo in the pissing rain, the track was full of water, I couldn't hold any speed, it was a nightmare. I reckon it would be fun in the dry.

I'll come back another day after a few weeks of dry.

Well that is that! Spent the day pulling apart the nomad and an old Scott voltage, then rebuilding the nomad with a mix of parts from my supply, the voltage, and some sweet new marzocchi forks and a funn wheel.

The bike is so close to being finished but hit a couple of small hurdles. Why does a 170mm travel fork come standard for a 180mm rotor????

Good bye nomad!
