Actually got out for a ride on the weekend after having the flu for a couple of weeks. Went with the missus - PSA if the missus is complaining about 'crunching gears' check it out BEFORE going for a ride with her. The drive train on her eeb was making a bloody horrible sound that set my teeth on edge. Was quite hard to listen to. Anyway went for a decent ride, so much so that she ran out of battery, so being the nice bloke I am I peddled her bike home and she jumped on my bike. Even with these event's it was still an enjoyable ride. Got home and immediately checked out the drive train on her bike - chain was worn to buggery and didn't seem to have the benefit of any lube. I need to sack the bike mechanic, I hear he's stunningly attractive in a middle aged fat bloke kind of way. Anyway a new chain fixed the issue and didn't seem to do too much other damage.

Inspired by the easy fix I decided I'd fit the new forks I got for my Spectral 125, the 140mm forks never seemed to fit the bike, I'd have to run them pretty firm or the BB would nearly drag on the ground (well it seems that way) so a while ago got some 150mm Z1's from Cyclinic while they were still on special. Hopefully get out this week for a spin and test them out. Will use the 140mm on a dualie I'm building for the ever growing #2 lad - hopefully we get some 'Black Friday' specials so I can get some more parts for it, or use the fall back and try Aliexpress (Going to try the 11speed cues drivetrain out)

165mm cranks just arrived 🤗 didn’t go for a ride this morning due to feeling a bit fluey and needing a rest after a big weekend of target shooting competition. Took out second place in my category so I’m pretty stoked about that. Also have OneUp 35mm rise bars to fit so that’s what I’m doing for my bike today.

Surely OnlyFans wearing his bib shorts would be easier?

Where is it? I’ll be over in Jan and the shade of that overpass will no doubt be appealing
It’s under Tonkin Hwy where it crosses the Swan River. Called Bayswater BMX and Mountain Bike Facility on Google Maps. Park at Bayswater Boat Ramp if driving.

Not today but Sunday I got out to the You Yangs for their November Shuttle day. First time at the Youies since Oct 2019.
Managed 13 Shuttles, 3 cans of drink and 2 sausages in bread. Saw the VP have his beard shaved for Movember and listened to the main speaker tells us it's ok to not be ok.
The riding was humbling - all of my skills and confidence seems to have evaporated by irregularly riding tame trails. Took me 5 runs to work up to hitting the first of three doubles at the bottom of cressy. After that I managed a variety or clearing, casing and avoiding them for the rest of the day.
Took 20mm of spacers out from under the bars which made the bike feel completely different. Felt great/familiar which was a surprise for what I thought was a small change.
A lot has changed in 5 years - the tracks, the roads, the buses but mostly the plants. Some of the tracks I didn't recognise with all the vegetation around them. Overall it was a great day. Would recommend.

crashed it 🤦🏻 happened very quickly when I put the front wheel on the outer edge of a corner which was soft like sand but looked like hardpacked dirt. No damage to me or bike, a few sore muscles in my left arm which I landed on. Had to smack the bars back into alignment. Not much riding done this break, just the first and last days. Had fun but
