Undoubtedly this shock would benefit from some more HSC but that will have to wait until I service it.Sounds like you need more HSC.

No stickers on wrong (yet). C-c-c-coil installed though.
Oversprung ever so slightly and still blows through the travel with a 2.4 leverage ratio.
The test ride this week should be interesting.

I'd be OTB into that bin.Rode into the office today.
2nd commute in two weeks
Bike commute to the office
That couldn't have been John. So I'm guessing Sarge. Have you thought of throwing him in the river?Started with a thoroughly shit race where a 60+ guy who hasn't beaten me since my third ever race 6 years ago, did just that by a good few minutes.
No, Rohan. Sarge lapped me, he's riding out of his skin at the moment. That couldn't have been John. So I'm guessing Sarge. Have you thought of throwing him in the river?
I used to get the shits being beaten by teenagers...
Let me guess...609.
I never got within cooee of Rohan. And that was a decade ago. You'll get used to it.No, Rohan. Sarge lapped me.
Teenagers being faster than me I can cope with. NSLS being only a few minutes behind me is actually a bit awesome. But 5 out of the 6 in front of me are have also completed more laps around the sun. Not keeping up with my peers for no other reason than a lack of time to train is what's crawling up my arse.
One of my colleagues tried their hardest to do the same hahaI'd be OTB into that bin.
Sounds like you need to clean the pistons with iso alcohol and a cotton bud. Then lube with the other end of the cotton bud and some mineral oil. Then push them in and out till they move smoothly. My rotors rub badly, changed pads because they were close to worn, pushed pistons in with a tyre lever (very gently!).
They still fucking rub!
Reset the callipers.
Still rub.
Try to straighten the rotor.
Still rub.
Fuck it, put an offer in on some lightly used SLX brakes![]()
Careful, you're starting to sound like my wife.......Here's an alternate narrative @Cardy George - despite taking the gamble and making the sacrifice to work long hours, large distances from home and missing out on seeing your family days at a time, all to help put said family in a better position that will create more opportunities for your kids and yourselves in the future, and only getting infrequent and greatly reduced time free to ride - you still managed to show up, participate in an activity that you shared time (and the passion of) with your kid and were only beaten by a few minutes. Sounds like a win to me.
Unless you were doing the 100m sprint, in which case you suck dude.![]()
So I have sticky pistons?Sounds like you need to clean the pistons with iso alcohol and a cotton bud. Then lube with the other end of the cotton bud and some mineral oil. Then push them in and out till they move smoothly.
Plenty of YT videos showing the process.

Sounds like it. If you have centred the caliper and the rotor isn't warped, then that's all that's left.So I have sticky pistons?
I didnt get too close, but it did surprise me that it sat there while I took half a dozen photos of it.That koala pic is chefs kiss
