I won't have mine for another 2 weeks it seems.

They didn't have any black ones in stock so have to wait (I briefly toyed with just getting a raw one).

Either way, I am going to put the coil on this week so should be a good experiment without the link then with the link.

Oversprung ever so slightly and still blows through the travel with a 2.4 leverage ratio.

The test ride this week should be interesting.

When I finished work it wasn't raining. The first ride I've had without rain for...well it feels like forever. So I rode to the beach before riding home.

Undoubtedly this shock would benefit from some more HSC but that will have to wait until I service it.

What it does need is a frame with an optimal leverage ratio for a coil (or a CC link).
