Actually managed to get on the pushy, with a ride around Olympic Park with the missus.

Would like to go further up the river next time when I know where the hell I'm going.

Anyway was good to actually be out on the bike.

Oh and yes, Canberra is looking good for a weekend in the very near future, I loved Stromlo. As I go by myself I don't need anything more than a campground and a pub within walking distance.

Not this weekend though. Biggest snow system of the winter coming through Weds-Sat so there will some rain and cold.

Just rolled a few rusty laps of a tiny skate park in chatswood. Saw it from the train window and thought why not? It didn't take long to fill up with preschoolers on scooters with parents that weren't watching. Between too much traffic and the kids showing me up it was time to leave.

Just rolled a few rusty laps of a tiny skate park in chatswood. Saw it from the train window and thought why not? It didn't take long to fill up with preschoolers on scooters with parents that weren't watching. Between too much traffic and the kids showing me up it was time to leave.

Backed that up with some "shuttle laps" (elevator assist) of the rocks at stargazer lawn. The council ranger did not look on approvingly when I cruised by on my last lap.

Another little ride for Stredda. You could start the Stredda Challenge. Start at Penguin MTB Park and Dial Range ride on down to Sheffield then ride all Wild Mersey trails coming out at Latrobe and then ride back to Penguin. Must be done in one day.

Well not quite as crazy as that but this is what I'm working towards doing....

I tried to do this early this year but I got a couple of flats and ran out of water so called it a day at 80km.

Ben ended up beating me to it but I'm still keen for the challenge.

Out for a fire road/gravelish ride this morning. Yvonne on Exceed; me on the Chameleon. A bit warmer around 16c. Did a 45 km loop
out south of Hobart. Picture at a snack break on Northwest Bay,

Had to do a bit of bush mechanicing after I hit a low lying branch and busted the light off the mount. Bit of bandage tape from John’s bag o tricks and a stick did the job just fine for the rest of the night!

Were you rocking one up grips or was that someone else? I bought some based on your feedback and they have been great.

I put the OneUp thick grips back on my bike for Thursdays ride with @Jpez.

I have gotten on well with the Peaty Monarchs, but the OneUps are still my favourite for sure.
