What did you do TO / WITH / FOR your bike today!

Local carpenters have been busy

Decent pedal after work. First ride on the burnished Z1's. Managed a couple of downhill PBs which was nice as I've only beaten climb PBs in recent times.

Z1's feel pretty good, running 4 clicks of rebound from closed which is Marz's recommendation (4-1 clicks). Going to have to try a couple each way to see if I can improve it even more.

Obligatory bike leaning up against stuff pics:

Was supposed to ride with @fjohn860 yesterday at the Yewies but forgot my helmet so turned back. Tonight not much better, I had my helmet but forgot my gloves and pads, no tools either. Whatevs. Can still ride.
Met some dude from nsw and showed him a few trails then peeled off for a bit of an explore.
Found an old wreck I’ve never seen before. Had hinges on the windscreen so guessing it was a very old Land Rover maybe.
Also made a couple of friends.
Good arvo tooling around in the bush.

The first new friend looks to be a Brown Falcon. 🙂

So after my adventures
Have been rolling out 1-2 klms to go to the shops with my lil basket and my 'old man bike '
Longest ride for a while was 4 km on my fatty .
However Doc has said well , you can exercise more , ' but no risk taking behaviours '

So today was see if I can , and I can .

I feel great - physically , mentally I get tired .
'still no driving till next year at the earliest '

Look after yourselves , get out there

I would call that a win!
If you can't ride where you like then enjoy riding where you can. ' No risk taking' is very faffy, fuzzy, cloudy word and open to loads of interpretation.

You still out rode me today - which is slowly killing me, but anyhow.........I'll get there somehow.
