What did you do TO / WITH / FOR your bike today!

I was also out there in the morning hitting a couple of Dandy climbs. Possibly crossed paths.
i was the guy who looked like he was about to die :)
Road bike or mtb? I had no idea that area was so busy. Passing the billion bikes at the cafe at the bottom of the climb was an eye-opener.
There were more mountain bikes on the hill than thought there'd be as well, at least a dozen

When the Missus asks if you would like to do and impromptu overnight trip to Derby you don't hesitate to say yes.
Got a few easy rides in on Saturday and a nice solid pedal up from town around to the far side of Dambusters and up to Big Papa then down Atlas and across to Big Mumma on Kruskas and back to town.

Took the Chameleon down to our son's house in Sandy Bay to give him a hand with a couple of things. I have gravel tires on it right now so I thought: why not ride up to the Brewery and back over the Main Fire Road on Mt Wellington to Lenah Valley? I am paying for it today. There was a reason I stopped riding hard tails on bumpy and steep fire roads. I enjoyed the ride but last night my lower back was giving all the "thanks, you bastard" have some of this. ⚡ Still hurting this morning. Still one of may favorite bikes but definitely only for street and hooligan duties.

I've been tempted by hardtails over the years but apart from commuting to work they just don't suit the stuff I ride.

About time I get my 26 years old Mongoose 26er out for its annual spin - also to remind me why I don't ride hart tails anymore!

Yvonne just brought this back from Launceston. It was an 2007 Xmas present for our youngest son just before the start of his 8th grade year. He rode it back and forth to school from when he received it to the end of 12th grade. By the then usually only bike in the rack. He left home to travel and it was passed to a cousin, than another cousin and then Yvonne's sister in law who rode it for about 5 years including a few trips to Derby. Sadly, it has just sat in their garage for about 4 years so now that our son and his family are back in Hobart I will clean it up. He might ride it or his 2 year old son will be off his balance bike and may ride it some day.

Speaking of hardtails, I finally got the steel is real retro ive been longing for a while. Unfortunately never found the Shogun I've been looking for but just finished a bit of a resto on this old dunger. Looking forward to its shakedown run.

My first mtb (Indi 500 Bush Bandit) is for sale locally. Don’t think I’ve got the patience to restore it though.

I'm the same, had a Banshee Paradox for a while and it was a great bike but never got ridden. I'd just look at it and pick a dually instead, faster and easier on the body. But I still like the idea of a hard tail....
