You can in scotland, and it’s fanastic. We should be allowed to here aswell.

It's about the most fun you can have! I've also heard the hiking trail at Melrose is worth putting wheels on if you're willing to risk the rangers catching you.

Never met a hiker that's had an issue with it, they usually take an interest in the endeavour.

If asked by family, a frame does not equal a bike, so I'm fine.

Thanks to plankosaurus for this find! A barely ridden 1999 GT idrive XCR5000 in scuba yellow.

Frame is all I'm keeping.

Having a bad trying to build a hardtail day. Bought a 27.5 pike yesterday only to realise last night the commencal meta ht is a 27.5+. Oh well no matter decide to save some $ and throw a 27.5 frame into my basket on CRC..... $150 shipping. Sarting to think either pony up and get a more expensive frame or just shelve the whole idea until something comes up secondhand.

More searching has lead me to the dartmoor primal 27.5 looks like it can go up to 2.8 rubber but not 29 so will work with 27.5 fork. I dont intend to run plus sizing.

I remember being happy with 26 x 2.3, back in the days when we weren't spoilt for choice yet we still had fun. Damn the MTBs have become complicated things to spec up!

Nah haven't bought yet.

I still regret parting out and selling a killer 26 build 8 years ago when I couldn't get a chameleon frame at a suitable price. My current 26 has been gimped by giving my daughter the rebas.

Took it to Buxton MTB park for the first time. Was half expecting a locked gate given I turned up at 7:00am on opening day but all good
Loved it, so much flow and great views.
Snuck in a cheeky gap as well!
