Almost 60cm according to the marker.
The passenger thought it was hilarious, then pointed me out to his mate giving him a bit of a rib ha ha

I got yelled at by another cyclist fro riding through a puddle on the trail. Where else am I meant to ride? He was coming the other way and wasn't making room for me to skirt it.
I did slow down so as not to cause too much spray which felt was quite nice of me...

Couple of laps at the local (Mt Annan) with 2 of the usual suspects. Cracking pace; it's great when everyone is riding well and the freight train gets going. Nice post-ride coffee and laughs too.

Sometimes you just have to go though. Out of interest, was there a correct direction or was this a bidirectional bit of trail like a connecting trail?

It's a shared walking/bike path so it's just 'keep to the left' in both directions
