Yeah that's him I reckon.
Low grade AC definitely better than a break.

Frame is a solid couple of grand cheaper than a Nomad. Not a big issue in an overall high end build I guess, but I bought frame/fork only off @russthedog as a had lots of new spares and Felix is non negotiable on Hope wheelsIf I'm lucky I'll get a run on it, look out PR's
Just checked the site, X01 price seems to be the same as the Nomad X01, nice. The orange colourway is pretty awesome too.
They also look better.Frame is a solid couple of grand cheaper than a Nomad. Not a big issue in an overall high end build I guess, but I bought frame/fork only off @russthedog as a had lots of new spares and Felix is non negotiable on Hope wheels
I'm definitely building the next one whatever I get. Been super happy with XT, Hope/Stans and the other bits on my current bike and prefer run out sale previous years stock to latest model.Frame is a solid couple of grand cheaper than a Nomad. Personally, I agree. I don’t think I’m biased. I like SC as brand, I know they’re a sweet ride, but the prices and hype that go with them seem as much to do with status as anything else. They also look better.
Yeah, Felix is XT 11sp spec, but 11-46 rear, Zee calipers, and hope DH rims. I’ve run (still running) arch an flow for 10 years without issue. Felix killed a few Flows, hence all his bikes running DH rims.I'm definitely building the next one whatever I get. Where are these pines? That video does not do justice at all to how steep a few of those sections are. Pines glorious pines.
I love the way my sc and intense bikes (same suspension platform) have ridden, but since all their frames have been getting pumped out of Taiwan they kind of "feel" a little...specialised.I like SC as brand, I know they’re a sweet ride, but the prices and hype that go with them seem as much to do with status as anything else.
You have hope my friend. A broken frame in your future I feel. Can’t wait to inherit it one day
As long as he breaks it then hands me a new one under warranty, I could live with that.
Come and ride my old SC stuff. No one will look at you normally except expecting that a retro vintage ride is happening.Personally, I agree. I don’t think I’m biased. The Rail is similar looking to a few bike at a glance, but not so much if you look closer. Felix could not be happier with it. Says it descends on another level, but certainly doesn’t feel 165/170mm on the climbs. Can’t wait to inherit it one day
Were both VPP. Intense use their JS Tuned platform now and Knolly recently lodged a lawsuit against them for patent infringement.I love the way my sc and intense bikes (same suspension platform) have ridden, but since all their frames have been getting pumped out of Taiwan they kind of "feel" a little...specialised.
I don't have anything that new. But from the images, knolly seem to be clutching. Were both VPP. Intense use their JS Tuned platform now and Knolly recently lodged a lawsuit against them for patent infringement.
Something to do with the seat tube, agree, it does seem to be clutching at straws!I don't have anything that new. But from the images, knolly seem to be clutching.
We have an old Superlight. I used to own a nickel. I have plenty of Poor Mans Oranges, AKA Hecklers, AKA Oranges.Come and ride my old SC stuff. No one will look at you normally except expecting that a retro vintage ride is happening.
That sounds tribal. We have an old Superlight. I used to own a nickel. I have plenty of Poor Mans Oranges, AKA Hecklers, AKA Oranges.
I’m not sayin SC is the new Yeti, I’m just sayin.
