What does your day look like?

rustic and authentically handmade.

The bit I was doing is at the side where out main entrance door is. It was an old raised flower bed that I was getting rid of.

Only thing was the fence didnt go the whole way down and its got about 300mm of next doors dirt ready to fall under the fence, also a veranda stormwater pipe running through it , so it will remain a flower bed with 400mm height of charcoal sleepers to make it look tidy and match the woodland grey colourbond fence.

Good thinking, particularly with the stormwater overflow. My one range's from about 250mm at the back to 900mm at the highest point. Good practice run for when we have to tackle the other side where the bone headed neighbour has 'reclaimed' his land and backfilled more than halfway up the fence. Will need close to 2 metres of retaining there for most of the fenceline.

I'll get this quick 2 sleeper high retaining wall/flower bed done then go for a ride. Only 4 posts to cement in and 6 sleepers to drop in.

75mm x 2.4m concrete sleepers, not lifting them myself as too heavy, just moving the end of one around, 3 consecutive loud tear noises from my bicep/elbow 🤬

Now waiting on someone to take me to the Medical Centre as the trailer is hitched to my car full of concrete sleepers, C section, bags of concrete mix and I cant unhitch it.

Goodbye Friyay ride with a couple of beers at my local on the way home 😔
2.4s by yourself - yikes. 2 of us huffed and puffed to move that size. 2m a little easier. Hope you heal up quick.

Nah, wasn't that silly... or maybe was. Knew they were too heavy, was only moving the end of one to get the strap out from below it, took the strain then twisted my elbow.

Missus and boys came home, says my bicep is really high up... on mirror check, faark... it may be off the bone 😔

To add to the birds n shit this fella helping himself to seeds and crumbs after my post ride feed...
Also, had a stack during the week, hit eject, flew for a bit and nearly folded my lower leg in half between the bike and ground, somehow ended up on-top of the bike facing backwards a few metres down the track...anyway thought it'd be a good idea to go do a couple laps of the freshly reopened Lower Cascades trail at Marysville today..couldn't pedal too well so tried to keep braking to a minimum, the little bike was stupid fast.
