What does your day look like?

Reminds me of when I was a kid and made cars out of LEGO and everything looked like that.
I know it’s 4WD abilities weren’t too flash not that I ever needed them but I wish they still made utes like this.

These were quite good, have towed some silly loads with them over the years.

If you live somewhere that still has some LPG servos, the dedicated gas ones are quite cheap these days! But a bit of a long term gamble as LPG continues to get harder to find - have heard of a lot of them being converted to petrol which wouldnt be a small job on a factory gas car!

Went for a Google to see if any looked good and the single cab workhorse ones don't look as bad. They really did go for a.... distinctive design though.

When you need to out chinese a chinese looking car

Be glad they didn't call up Ssangyong for some styling tips. Not the Stavic........ Nooooooo..............!!!!

How was the highway speed driving (if you had the chance)? My cousin has a BYD Sealion 6 and while it'll let you comfortably plow over speedhumps at low speed, it was pretty floaty at 100km/h.
Did a short 100km/h bit down Tuggeranong Parkway and it felt fine but not enough of a test to really judge.

The factory gas was great. A bit stressful once though when I forgot to fill it and look down to see the guage at zero. Found a servo and rolled in 10km further down the road. No jerrycans with factory gas!

I'm getting very tempted to get one for my parents to replace their current magna wagon tow pig. And when we move back to melbourne for a bit ill need to spend a lot of time up at the olds doing some cleaning out of dead cars and rubbish and putting some fences in and bunch of other things I'll need a proper tow car for!

I've only run out once, that indeed did suck. $60 for a tow truck to the nearest servo wasn't the end of the world though and it beats doing the walk of shame with a Jerry down the side of the road.
Another time, got distracted, missed the servo I had intended to go fill up at... Next servo was 8km up the highway. I made it to the offramp, started to feel the car running shit, popped it into Neutral and coasted 200m up to the pump and it literally clonked out as I stopped. Thought it was the coolest thing I'd ever done...

Did that once in my Rover out in the country - conked out and went to pull the reserve tank lever and remembered it was already on the reserve tank (a common state of affairs as a povvo uni student!). I got a short burst of power out of it by pulling the choke to empty whatever was left in the SU float bowls to get a few more kph and popped into neutral as it spluttered out.

That was about 5kms out of town - managed to crest the last hill at running pace, but it rolled up the bowser :)

That's an EV?...

Yep!
I've seen a few reviews on them and they seem pretty practical without being a behemoth.
Same length as a modern Mini.

It was only a short stretch of 100kmh out the back of Bendigo, but the thing is planted. And it wasn't a perfect road either. We pulled over to check out the screen and settings, I didn't see the massive hole until we were nearly in it and it took it like a champ.

They even let the three of us go without a BYD rep with us, it still feels planted at "overtaking" speeds.

An unexpected visit to bare creek. I had the wrong bike but that didn't prevent the good times. Took my bin chicken on a few laps of the bin chicken, flailed around on the drty jumps, and rocked a little trash panda. The main jump line was rather busy with some serious shredders allowing for a discrete bit of wussing out on my behalf.

I surprised I've never been asked TBH.

At 43, I have (almost white) light grey hair.

Have had quite a few funny interactions with people over the years due to my hair

I’m 50, but started going grey in my teens and was pretty much totally grey by 35. It’s almost white these days. Beard mostly grey now too…

So I get it. My inner 15yo just objected a bit…

A fella I knew through sailing was going grey when he was 17; he's 8 years younger than me. As of tomorrow, I'm 49. My head hair is thinning a bit but maintaining its colour, however if I let my beard grow it's presenting a fair bit of grey.
