Manly would be similar to the bra, very wide beach with variable conditions. The difference is the Queenscliff bombie and the 3 reef breaks at Shelly: Fairy Bower, Winkypop and Deadmans.
If the Bombie is pumping in winter it's definitely worth a sticky beak. It's as big as anything I've seen at Puerto Escondido or Pipeline. Deadmans in a big swell is like a blood sport too.

Not particularly enlightened
Decided to take a bit of a rest week from blackberries and because the cloud was clearing i decided to go for a rushed walk up Mt. Van dyke track. I took the steepest route because quicker. Didn't get the full run done as it was getting windy and I didn't particularly want to be up there in the predicted 40kph odd winds so i went back via the same route.
I'll do it again and actually plan it out better next time lol.

Managed to go from 31.6kph to 0 by wedging my foot between a log and my pedal. Something had to give and it wasn't the log. Waiting for the swelling to go down then need surgery and will be off the bike for at least 6 months I'm told. Fucking shattered...
