I don't really know much about these brakes apart from riding 'em, but are you talking about the 03 ones, Wombat? I've nfi if they've changed or not, but I've looked at 03 mag and hfx9 calipers side by side and they looked identical apart from the colour. I was sure that in the service manual they had the same diagram for the caliper on both too.

Yeah, they appear very similar, but I know that the HFX-9 ones hold less fluid. The G2 calipers were a fresh design for 03 (or was it 02, I suck with dates) but I think the MAGs are still pretty much the same as they have been.

Unless of course they've changed the MAG caliper too?

Okay, I just had another squizz at the service manual which is for hfx-mag, hfx mag plus, hfx9 and hfx9 hd and there is only one exploded caliper diagram in there which is labelled as G2. I guess they might have upgraded the hfx9 calipers.
