What was Kyle Sandilands thinking? Better yet what the hell was the mother thinking?

That Mother, was so insensitive. Even not knowing that she had been raped, why would you drag your kid on Kyle and Jackie O

... and who says there isn't a market for a Jerry Springer type show in this country.

Nothing better than knowing we have one more disillusioned kid, that has had their trust betrayed by a parent. But if we as consumers didn't listen/read/watch this type of thing, there wouldn't be a market for it.

I dont think kyle is to blame here, its pretty much his job to be a wanker, to be the guy that everybody loves to hate. The mother is definately the one to blame, any mother that puts their child onto a lie detector knowing that she has been raped in the past, especially broadcasting it on live radio, must be incredibly daft.

+1 to that. Yes kyle is a wanker at times but he hasn't done anything wrong here. What kind of a retarded mum put's there 14 year old daughter under the pump on air knowing she has been raped and ask a stupid question like that? And then for her daughter to have to tell her mum to stop smilling, makes me sick. And as per usual the news has blown it out making out like Kyle and Jacki o are to blame when clearly they had no idea how messed up the kid was.

woah, what kind of insensitive bitch would ask that question on the radio when they already known the kid has been raped she was 12. no wonder the kids having trouble communicating with her mum

If I were any kind of specialist/had any kind of power i'd be keeping a pretty damn close eye on the girl now. Airing the fact she was raped at 12 on national radio wouldn't be doing much for her in the way of self-confidence. Stupid mother.

The bleeping of her name?

was it bleeped on Live radio, or added in for Fairfax so that they could spare embarrassment for the girl?

and also, the girl didn't have to say that she was raped at 12, even if it was spite to the mother for asking the question

Hahahaha. I lol'd.

bahaha, yeh, agree with Bretty, was fair lolable.
and I also agree with Kembla downhill, she didn't have to say that she was raped at 12, she could've said yes, and then leave.

Fucken bogans:rolleyes:

Why the fuck would they run a segment like this?? It's just fucking low and cheap... I really hope that this segment and segments alike are discontinued..

Yeah, maybe not. But quite obviously there's an issue there and for her to say it out loud I guess it's a good indication that she felt as if the issue wasn't dealt with properly at or after the rape had occurred and is feeling as if the issue is largely un-resolved.

Respect for Jackie O ending that shit, Kyle was still trying to go with it 'So that was your ONLY sexual experience' WTF??? Not an appropriate question at that moment.

Link was posted on the first page of this thread man.

he edited it later to put it in, don't be so quick to presume I haven't looked

Edit: To Kyles credit, http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25852406-661,00.html

Yes, I still think he's a pretty big douche, but to pick on him for something like that (assuming it happened exactly as in the studio) is a bit far.

Stupid bitch mother. What the hell would she even gain out of the situation?

They have 7 seconds to cut shit out before it goes to air, no? Ie: The producer made the decision to air that shit.

But i dont think he'll have nearly as much trouble sleeping at night as the guy who signs Sandilands and Jackie'o's paycheck.

Says in the article thatit was "live to air" and that there are no regulations that say radio stations have to employ 7 second delays, so presumably in this case it was, literally, live broadcast.

Really? Perhaps you'd care to share with the rest of the class what exactly you find so amusing about a twelve-year-old girl being raped?
