Interesting, that can't be cheap but probably works for some. I'd never consider it and actually think it will be fun with the little one but it won't be all perfect in sure.

Maybe book on same flight as Haakon.

You may be right, but I think we might be ok. Flight leaves at 8.30 pm which is ~ bedtime. If we keep him outside all day going nuts and feed him a big meal at the airport we should hopefully either get him to sleep a half decent night or at least zonk out on my lap watching the wiggles.
