where do you find seriall numbers on bikes/ parts

frames - under the BB

parts - depends on what. just search it all over until you find it. should be just a bunch of numbers. (unless there is no serial number..)

Frames: On the bottom bracket shell, near the disc brake mounts or bottom of seat tube.
Forks: On the crowns.

on frames, they can also be found on the inside of the dropout junction.

by the way BB = bottom bracket, that cylinder were the pedals go through

On my giant ac2 it is at the back of the swingarm.
