I'm in Smith's Lake for a weeks holiday. Can anyone recommend tracks or club contact or summin please?

Thanks

Eddie

never seen much up there but surf! You might need to explore the State Park up there or go south to Seal Rocks/Myall Lake Nat Park.

I know there are some MTB trails around Pacific Palms, there is actually a trail up from the lake up to the walking trail that starts at the northern end of Elizabeth Beach and heads north into the hills.

There's also a massive hill that rises up to a lookout on the lakeside of the Lakesway...I just can't remember where it starts from but somewhere close to Smith's Lake.

Hi there,

I spent last Xmas at Pacific Palms and had several mtb rides in the Wallingat National Park. There is a tourist drive that loops around the park through some very nice forest. It's smooth dirt with very minimal traffic.
There's a good climb up to Whoota lookout with some great views.

I bought a topo map of the area and explored some overgrown firetrails which have become narrow, which made for some good riding, bar the hanging vines.

Thanks Slowman, is that the Whoota Whoota Lookout? If yes, I did it today. A bit hilly, but worth the ride.
