Whistler Winter 12/13

Did a search and could find anything covering the coming snow season in whistler.
Myself and a couple of buddies are heading to the mountain mid january for three weeks of boarding, I'm just looking for advice on accommodation.

HI-Whistler and Fireside Lodge are the two spots I'm considering right now, just wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with these hostels. I really want to know what the atmosphere is like before I book.

Mate im moving to canada in a couple of weeks. id book your accomodation asap. it is a very busy place. anywhere is good i know the hostels are loose and cheap. but if your there for the snow then find a place close to the lifts or bus stop. both those names you said are popular places
