Why do people ride brakeless bikes?

Some people just do it because they break a part and cbf replacing it. It's jut for a bit fun/something different. I'd probably go brakeless if I was only going to do tech kind of stuff. But I like going fast and I want the reassurance that if I need to stop suddenly I can. Plus doing skids it to much fun

Normally you get brakes so you can do technical stuff.

Get a brake with a shadow cable and you're set best brake cable ever!! But poeple run brakeless coz they are hectic yo!. They don't need them, for they are comfortable without one in other words.
