Hides the dust from the champagne gravel.I don't understand why gravel bikes seem to sport tan sidewalls in droves.
On the other hand, tan sidewalls somewhat disguise the fact that I haven't cleaned the Twinzer in months...and probably won't for months more.Coloured sidewalls guarantee eventual shabby looks. I don't understand why gravel bikes seem to sport tan sidewalls in droves. Who decided this was de rigueur? And can I change their mind?
Ed Zachery. not to mention the width of the sidewall strip is probably different too.You canāt even cross match brands as not all tan is the same colour.
I like the tan wall look but this is the reason it is a pain in the arse.My ebike came with tan wall tyres. It is the matchy matchy scam to make you buy extra tyre so you always have a spare Tan tyre ready to go. You look like a kook on a stolen bike with 1 tan and one black Tyre.

It does look good on my bike.
Bikes with different brand tyres are unrideable in my opinion.I like the tan wall look but this is the reason it is a pain in the arse.
that where needing glasses comes in handy - I don't ride in glasses and so words on the bike no longer matter. Also tyre pressure is now the third blur from the left for the rear and between blurs 2 and 3 for the front.Bikes with different brand tyres are unrideable in my opinion.
That's where you just default to the squeeze test. No eyesight needed.that where needing glasses comes in handy - I don't ride in glasses and so words on the bike no longer matter. Also tyre pressure is now the third blur from the left for the rear and between blurs 2 and 3 for the front.
