Just wondering if I need to get an E-type BB to fit a BB mount chain guide on my big hit? Is it possible to rig them up with a normal non-etype BB or will I realy need it so my cranks don't hit anythign or feel out of wack?

most BBs come with a spacer so that they can run either configuration, with my evil i left the spacer off and i have a very good chain line. hope this helps.

um, i'm running a truvative DH BB 68-73 and i just threw it on with out the spacer and it all just bolted together. had a perfect chain line and the chain guide lined up perfect aswell. maybe i was just lucky.

(side note, somehow i lost my "other" splined BB tool and i had to sell my PX to RED with the BB still in the frame, i hope i don't have to change Tashas BB anytime soon)
