There is a 185x52.5 RS deluxe select R in Melbourne for $199. Are you able to shorten the shaft on these by 10mm?

Yeah. I actually did a cross reference in the SRAM parts manuals to see if I could replace the eyelet shock end on a 195mm shock with a trunion end to build my own 165mm but there are enough different parts that it is not economically viable.

Cheers @CHEWY . That shock is probably suitable. I don't think they ever made a trunion with 38mm stroke, so its probably a 40/42.5/45mm stroke (they are all the same except for an internal travel reduction spacer). Unfortunately, I'm after a non-Fox shock as a spare. Got a Fox already and they are a PITA to rebuild because of parts availability.

Grave dig or grave bump? Anyway just putting this back out there in case anyone has something suitable.

Would prefer DVO, RS or Manitou.

Thanks for the heads up but I've already got a DPS as a spare. Wonder why its "without aircan"? Anyway, hunting for something non-Fox.
