WTB: 20" bike.

Lives under a bridge
Item: decent 20" kids bike

Location: Melbs preferably

Price range/Willing to Pay: $100-150 tops

Extra Info: a real bike, 20" with decent geo, something like a byke.

6.5yo daughter is ready to move up, need to retire the 16" hand-me-down Kmart bike she's learnt on. Wife threatened to buy a $99 clunker from Kmart tonight, and I'd prefer to get her on something that won't disintegrate or kill her within 2 or 3 rides. It's for paths and bike tracks, to get her confidence and skillz up before putting her on the boy's old Chucker and getting her to gap fire roads in a couple of months.

FFS! Put her on a 14" 26 frame...you know it's right.

Otherwise, loan our 20" kona for a year or so. Felix would like it kept as a momento of first mtb, but it's just sitting here for now. Upgraded to 1x9 with Shimano brakes. Do it.

Fine, you've harangued me into it, provided you don't force the anthem onto me too.

What sort of monster would do that to their kid?

One who's already lost DH and enduro to his 11yo, and trying to knobble his XC riding as a last ditch effort.
