Looking to get some of these for my STP, mainly for 4X use. I know they are supposed to be bombproof, light etc... but, I would like to hear about the forks performance who has used them... any help?

I use them for Dj, super tidy fork.

They dont even flex, super solid and feel great too.

they sure do... Jackson managed to snap his the other day, but i wouldnt let that put you off entirely.... he still raves about how good they were..

all i hear is good things about them, so go for it, tho i was a bigger fan of the velvet model, that they have now stopped making.

i would have got the velvets, but i hate 9mm QR. ive snapped 2 front axles and bent/broken 2 QR sqerwers. i went for 2009 reba team dual airs 20mm maxle so hopefully they will stand up to dj.street

Where did you get this from?

The velours are exactly the same as the last shipment of Velvets, which have a revised "stronger crown and steerer", you obviously have the wrong idea. Ive had both the first and second gen, same as Velours and i would say the Velours are better, even less flex.

Get them dude, they are solid, exactly what you want/need

for some reason i thought the velvets had a compression adjustment but just checked they do not. so yes i guess they are just restickered
